Land Ho!

Today's fun adventure - a pirate cruise with friends to celebrate the 8th birthday of Mack-

We sailed the seven seas (a dirty river), landed on a desert island (filled with people drinking beer and floating in the dirty river) and dug for buried treasure (candy, beads and rings).  It was actually quite fun.  Loved Captain Tim and Martha, the couple that decided to follow their dream and build a pirate ship.  Even their son, Sharktooth, was along for the ride.  I do hope that is not his real name, but it might just be.

Morale of the story:  Follow your dreams.  Enjoyed the day but alas, the pirate life is not for me.
