Reading always help my family recover from a funk so we made a trip to "paradise", the public library. I am so excited about my diverse stack:
2. Light read - Glitter and Glue by Kelly Corrigan. I loved her first book, The Middle Place
3. Historical read- Pat and Dick by Will Swift - story of the marriage of the Nixons - very strange, yet fascinating relationship.
4. A self-help/how to read- Family Whispering by Melinda Blau and Tracy Hogg
I LOVE having books to read. It has made all of the difference in my Spring Break funk. The kids needed the library plus the toy store. I'm okay with that.
Flowers from Trader Joe's also helps:
And retail therapy, especially bargains, really helps.
One of these jars was purchased at Anthropologie last year and two were purchased at Michaels this week. Can you tell the difference? They look and feel exactly the same. The red and blue ones were Michaels, on sale for $4 and $3. LOVE!
I leave you with a picture of Finn at the toy store. Yes, I know we need to trash the nuk. He absolutely fell in love with this stroller and pushed it all around the store, ignoring every other toy around him. He was not happy when we left without it (but we did buy one of the babies). I think I know what to get him for his birthday!
Happy Spring Break everyone!
